Kaihime took a step towards the held Erik, she was sure that the next blow would be the final one. She raised her blade to plunge it into the abdomen of her foe. Suddenly a sharp pain in her arm caused her to abandon the attack and spin to deflect another throwing knife that was hurtling towards her. She looked down at her arm, a throwing knife securely lodged into it. "So your not alone after all, come out and stop being a coward Kaihime yelled to the hiding foe.

A look of surprise came across Erik's face. He looked in the direction it came from and concluded it came from the entrance. "Good job!" he bluffed then dropped his weapons then grabbed Mahad's wrists, pulled him close to the ground and moved to knee him in the chest.

Mahad acted quickly, moving his knee to block Erik's, then twisting his body which cause him to cry out in pain when his side protested, and tried to free his wrists.

There wasnt much Kaihime could do to help Mahad right now, not safely. She turned her attention to the new foe and the cause of her injury. The guard that had been hiding stepped out into the open his blade drawn. He charged at Kaihime intending to finish his kill.

OOC:guards are dumb XD

Kaihime pulled the throwing knife from her arm and threw it at him, as it lodged in his throat the man clutched at the blade and did the dumbest thing of all; removed it. Clutching at his woundtrying to stop the bleeding her fell to his knees. Kaihime turned her focus back to the two men that were fighting, the guard would die soon enough.

As soon as Mahad tried to free himself, Eric let go then kicked him back.

OOC: Had permission. Not Godmodding now.

Eric bent over quickly and retrieved his sword and dagger. He sheathed his sword then put the dagger in his mouth with the handle in his mouth.

He turned around and made for the window. He leaped over it then shimmied to the right. He looked down and saw a mound of hay. The same one that Kaihime used to drop the dead archer in. He took a deep breath then let go. He free fell into the hay and landed in there safely. He jumped out and ran to a building.

Mahad landed on the floor with a grunt of pain and laid there, staring at the ceiling as his vision swam. "Damn...he got away..." he growled, trying to stand.

Kaihime offered a hand to Mahad to help him stand, but quickly swapped the offered arm to the one that wasnt injured. She had it far better than Mahad at the moment, looking at him she was beginning towonder if she would need to help him walk back to Ezio. She was silently fuming in her mind, 7 guards, 3 archers, 5 templars, and their actual target Erik and only the two assassins to take them down. She wouldnt have been angry if she had not been promised aid by Ezio at the start of the mission. But she had been and the fact that none arrived made her angry. So much for brotherhood She lifted her mask off of her face for the first time in what seemed forever, she rubbed her eyes and took a breath.

Mahad took her offered hand. "So I see the mystery face, it's an honor..." he joked as he stood and tried to straighten. "We should return and report our...misfortune to Ezio." he said, cracking his neck as he turned to the door, holding his side and ignoring his shoulder.

Erik ran through the house and broke down the other door with his shoulder then stopped in the alley way. He walked to the street then looked around casually and saw three, white hooded men running towards the building he came from. Ah crap! he thought and turned around and jumped to the ledge. They must've heard Erik running through the building or saw him drop from the fall. Either way they were coming for him.

Erik was on top of a building now and he just leaped another when they made it to the roof.

"it's not our fault our reinforcements took a wrong turn" Kaihime replied to mahad as they began their trip back to Ezio. She stopped and looked out the window as she heard commotion, seeing three assassins making their way to the roof she scoffed "and the cavalry is finally here, albeit too late" She looked to Mahad and raised a quizzical eyebrow as she saw him struggling to stand upright. "you want to get a doctor before going back to the guild?"

Mahad shook his head. "I am fine, this is nothing." he replied through gritted teeth. "Besides, we've wasted enough time here, there might be more guards on the way." he said, moving to leave the room.

Erik leaped another building then saw a group of guards on patrol. "I can't take on three assassins at the same time." he muttered and jumped and landed with a roll in the middle of the street.

He looked back and saw the three assassins on the edge of the building, standing and staring at Erik. Chances are they knew who he was as well, so he stood his ground and put a hand on his blade.

The guards followed Erik's gaze then saw the assassins. It'd be a five on three battle if they came to attack. "Try it." Erik mouthed to the assassins.

Kaihime could tell that Mahad was in more pain then he was leading on as he gritted his teeth. Deciding against leaving him and heading back to the guild alone. Walking along side him as they exited the building. She applied pressure to her arm wound and winced as she caused herself more pain. She ate the pain so to speak knowing it was needed to ease the bleeding. Once again she looked to Mahad, he's in worse shape than me She raised her mask to cover her face and conceal her identity from those outside.

Mahad walked steadily, covering his bleeding side, seeing a blanket hanging outside a window he quickly grabbed it and used it to cover the wound so no one would notice how bad it was. What a nuisance, I will have to learn to keep on my toes, still... he looked down to his blood stained hand. It's been awhile since i've bled this much. he thought, moving along.

Two assassins stood over the dead bodies of the guards. All together there were seven dead guards and one dead assassin, since three more joined the fray. Although the assassins killed the guards and made short work of them, they themselves were fatiged from the battle and had multiple cuts on there bodies.

Erik himself was slightly breathing faster, but was unharmed by the battle. It'd be another two on one battle, but Eric knew he'd win this.

They were standing about ten feet away and there was no one in the streets. There were no guards coming for his aid, not fast enough anyways. Erik glanced behind him and was sure he saw the glimmer of a lake. He looked back at the Assassins and they had moved to attack him.

Erik blocked the first attack and stepped forward to get past the first assassin, he attacked the second assassin with a upward swing before the second assassin could attack which made him guard. Erik then procedded to grab the assassin's arm, the one he defended with, and moved it out of the way so he could deliver the killing blow.

The other assassin cam behind him and grabbed Erik's sword swinging arm so he couldn't attack. Erik let go of the assassin's arm to turn around and landed a punch on the assassin's nose, which made him let go. Erik then ran to a building and jumped up onto the roof. He started running then climbed another building and was now on a four story building. He took time to turn around and seen the assassins running to catch him.

Kaihime couldnt help but think to herself how unhappy the owner of sheet would be when they came to retreive it later. A small smile graced her lips as she imagined the scene. It wasn't odd for Kaihime's mind to wander to odd and meaningless things like things when she was tired. Reaching a hand under her mask she rubbed her sore and burning eyes again. stupid smoke they werent far from the guild now and rest..... after such a mission she knew they both needed it. Feeling the tightness in her chest building she coughed several times, once again thinking stupid smoke to herself.

"Are you alright?" Mahad asked, his head barely turning in her direction as he walked. "We're almost there, I hope Ezio will be understanding to the missions completion..." he said aloud thoughtfully.

"I'm fine just some smoke damage, your the one to worry about" Kaihime replied watching the wounded Mahad walk. "As for Ezio i just dont know, i haven't known him long enough to know how he will react" i haven't known anyone for long really, not since i lost my memory She wondered if how long she had known Ezio, he had always acted as if he knew her from before her memory loss, or was that just her imagination. "All i do know is that bed seems pretty enticing right about now" Kaihime held her arm as she spoke, making sure to ease the bleeding. Even in times like these seeing two hooded people bleeding profusely while walking down the street was going to draw unwanted attention.

Mahad turned his back to the path. "Rest does look good..." he agreed, noting the pain in his side was lessening to a degree. "We should hurry." he moved his pace quicker.

Erik and the two assassins had made their way on to another building and had startred fighting there. The assassins were definatly fatiged and Erik was just breaking sweats. The assassins started to move apart to take Erik on both of his sides. Oh I know what you two are doing. he thought and attacked the one on the right with a midsection swing. The assassin dodged it and counter-attacked with a over-hand swing, but was impaled by Erik's blade. Erik quickly spun around then deflected an attack from the other and last assassin.

The assassin attacked again, but Erik locked blades with him and stepped in to look at his face. The assassin and Erik had eye contact for a second before they both pushed each other back. Erik looked at him then put his sword back in his sheath slowly. Then he unstraped his sword and dagger and placed them on the ground then gestured for the Assassin to come.

The assassin however didn't do disarm himself and moved to attack, Dishonourable! he thought in anger and caught the assassin's sword arm and jerked it hard enough so that he would let go of the blade. He elbowed him in the ribs then spun and backhanded him in the face.

The assassin stumbled back then straitened. He spit out a mouthful of blood then pulled out his dagger. He's going to try this again? he thought as he walked forward to him. The assassin swiped at Erik's head, but Erik dodged. The assassin followed up with a bladed uppercut to Erik's face. Erik stepped back, then stepped back in when the assassin's arm was in the air and Erik shoved him off the roof, while making him trip so there was no way he would survive.

Erik walked to the edge and looked at the assassin flip and fall until he hit the ground on his back, then his head hit the ground. "Hmmmm," Erik thought aloud and walked and grabbed the assassin's sword. He calmly walked to the edge again then dropped the sword, point down, onto the assassin. It landed right in the stomach of the assassin, but he was probably already dead. So it didn't matter.

Erik walked back to grab his things then strapped them all on, before he promptly and casually climbed down.

Kaihime quickened her pase to keep up with Mahad. She felt a wave of relief wash over her as the guild came into sight. Finally, i can rest my eyes She looked over to Mahad and he can get some attention She wasnt focused on what repercussions may come from their missions results, more focused on getting Mahad tended to. She worked alone most of the time and wasnt used to being responsible for anothers life.

OOC: I mean making sure he lives despite his wounds etc haha not that she is responsible for him like a babysitter :p you know because they are a brotherhood they all look out for each other....

Mahad was sure this wound would effect his performance should Ezio send him out again. I refuse to allow this to get in the way of my missions... he thought as he continued. "We're home..." he muttered to himself as he saw the guild, it really was his home since he spent more time there then his actual house. "If you need your rest, I can report this to Ezio myself?" he asked over his shoulder as he entered the guild.

"haha and miss all the fun? never" Kaihime appreciated the gesture but they were on this contract together and so they shared the responsibilty together. Besides Kaihime was interested in seeing Ezio's reaction to her and Mahad's state and report. This was the first time that Kaihime had failed a mission, well it wasnt a total failure they killed everyone else. They were targets also were they not. but the main target eluded them and she was sure that she would meet him again soon.

Erik walked into his favorite bar. No alcohal or smoking of anything in the bar. This is why it was his favorite bar. Just clean air that is enjoyable. "A cup of water." he smiled.

"As usual." the female bartender smiled and bent over to get the glass. She turned around, pulled a lever that was attached to a keg, and out poured the clear liquid water. "Here you go." she said and turned to the lady beside Eric. "What will I get you?"

Erik glanced to the female that was sitting beside him without turning his head. He didn't even hear her approach, let alone sit down. This girl.... he thought and took a shot of his beverage.

"There is nothing that you could ever give me that I'd take willingly." she said in a quite intimadating voice. Her voice slightly muffled from the scarf in front of her face.

The bartender stepped back at the sudden rudeness then stiffined, "You don't have to be so rude." she hissed then walked away.

"Well what can I get you?" he asked, but he knew that she was there for bussiness. He finished his drink then placed the cup down. His hand slowly reaching for his dagger.

"What do people who come for you without an invitation always want, Templar?" she emphisized Templar, to make it sound like a curse.

"You know," he replied, both of them hadn't looked at each other since she approached him, but had stared into space "usually my life, but they never succed."

"Well, Eric Navaro, that is about to change!" she grunted and got up while moving to pull out her right dagger.

Eric moved quickly with her. He moved to pull out his dagger with his left hand which made it out half-way, while at the same time he grabed the empty glass on the counter and smashed the top with the counter to make it jagged. Both of them hadn't stood, but he turned his torso to stab her with the cup.

The female was quick however. Instead of pulling out her dagger she grabbed his hand with the cup in it to stop it from piercing her skull, while at the same time she stopped him from pulling out his blade with her other hand, both locked in a stalemate.

Eric made a surprise grunt when he couldn't pull out his dagger, or free his hand, "You're good." he noted, "But I'm better!" he said and stood up while moving his body so his back wasn't facing her so he could pull out his dagger.

She pulled out her dagger as well and moved to chop of the hand that was holding the jagged cup. Eric twisted his wrist so that if she didn't let go, she'd get a real nasty cut from the cup. Although she didn't let go, Eric used his dagger to lock blades with her.

"Reckless." Erik said. He brought up his knee to her, but she merely stepped off it then let go of his wrist to hop a few feet from him. "You should leave, before I kill you." he promissed her.

By this time the full bar was now empty. During their little scuffle, the patrons had left in a cry of shock and terror. Erik knew that they'd go get the guards, but that didn't stop him from killing this girl.

====================

Ezio looked up from the book he was reading. Not really a book, but more like a list of names that needed to be killed or were already dead. "Back already?" Ezio asked, not to surprised that they were in the shape they were in. "Did the reinforcments arrive? Where are they?" his voice rising to a shout, "What happened?!" he yelled in anger.
